What are the steps to creating a one-and-done chalk project?

Creating a one-and-done chalk project couldn’t be easier! Chalk Couture stencils, chalk paste and surfaces work together to give you the best possible projects you’ll be proud to display! Use these easy steps to create a one-and-done chalk project:

  • Select a stencil design and one chalk paste color (get more detailed information in the Chalk Couture Stencil Guide and the Chalk Couture Paste & Ink Guide),
  • Select your surface and prep it if necessary (read more about Chalk Couture surfaces),
  • Fuzz your stencil and adhere it to your surface. (Fuzzing is the process of picking up a little bit of lint on the sticky side of your stencil so that it is easier to remove from your surface. You can use a fuzzing cloth or any towel.)

  • Using a squeegee, spread the chalk paste across your stencil making sure the silk screen portion is covered,
  • Peel to reveal your one-and-done chalk project!
