Let’s upcycle an old cookie sheet 2 ways! We all have old cookie sheets in our cabinets and recycling and repurposing them is super fun and easy! Let’s turn one cookie sheet into a tray and another into a memo board.
How to Upcycle an Old Cookie Sheet Two Ways
There are so many ways to use old cookie sheets so don’t throw them away! Let these two projects spark your creativity so you can turn those old pans into something wonderful! Let’s take a look at a project to turn an old cookie sheet into a tray and then another one into a memo board.
Cookie Sheet Turned Serving Tray
A tray is super handy to have when you’re entertaining or having dinner on the patio. You can use them to serve drinks by the pool or just to gather entertaining supplies on a counter.
There are so many different ways you could decorate a serving tray as well! This project is meant for summer cocktails, but you can easily make a coffee themed tray or use a simple pattern that can be used year-round.

- sand paper or bonding product. Dixie Bell Bonding Boss in clear was used for this project.
- paint of your choice. Dixie Bell Silk in Anchor was used for this project, but you can easily use a paint and color you have on hand.
- a stencil design of your choice. A piece of the Chalk Couture Cocktail Hour stencil was used for this project.

- sealer of your choice to protect the stencil design.

Steps to Complete the Serving Tray Project:
- clean your cookie sheet,
- sand or apply bonding product to both sides of the cookie sheet,
- paint the cookie sheet on both sides with your choice of paint,
- once your paint is completely dry, place your stencil design and apply chalk paste to create your design,
- once your chalk paste is dry, apply sealer of your choice and enjoy using your tray every day or when entertaining.

Cookie Sheet turned Memo Board
A memo board can be very handy around the house. Use one in your office to keep track of appointments or receipts. Use one in your kitchen to hold recipes or shopping lists. You can embellish your memo board in a variety of ways, but the great part is you can make it your own. Add some magnets for your own special touch.
