Etching with Chalk Couture Stencils
Sometimes you just want a different look for some of your home decor! Etching is definitely a fun way to use your Chalk Couture stencils to create something unique and different. You can etch on anything made of glass like vases, mirrors, lanterns or table tops!
Etching with Chalk Couture is just as easy as chalking following these simple steps.
- Choose your surface.
- Choose your stencil.
- Use etching cream in place of chalk paste and follow the directions on your etching cream product. Always use etching cream in a well-ventilated area and use gloves.
- Clean off the etching cream with water and admire your work!
Pro Tip: Always use etching cream in a well-ventilated area and use gloves!
Here are a couple of pictures of my favorite etched project! This octopus is a retired stencil, but it makes such a great impact on this outdoor table!
