A tray is super handy to have when you’re entertaining or having dinner on the patio. You can use them to serve drinks by the pool or just to gather entertaining supplies on a counter.

There are so many different ways you could decorate a serving tray as well! This project is meant for summer cocktails, but you can easily make a coffee themed tray or use a simple pattern that can be used year-round.

Supplies:

  • an old cookie sheet,
  • sand paper or bonding product. Dixie Bell Bonding Boss in clear was used for this project.
  • paint of your choice. Dixie Bell Silk in Anchor was used for this project, but you can easily use a paint and color you have on hand.
  • a stencil design of your choice. A piece of the Chalk Couture Cocktail Hour stencil was used for this project.
  • chalk paste of your choice. Bright White Chalkology Paste was used here. Learn more about Chalk Couture paste with the Chalk Couture Chalk and Ink Guide.
  • sealer of your choice to protect the stencil design.

You can embellish your memo board in a variety of ways, but the great part is you can make it your own. Add some magnets for your own special touch.
