How do you use your Chalk Couture Sample Kit?
Crafting with Chalk Couture is super easy. Here are the basic steps for using your Chalk Couture Sample Kit:
- Fuzz your stencil really well to remove some of the stickiness. Stencils really like to stick to ChalkSuede, so this is a very important step.
- Place your stencil on the ChalkSuede tag.
- Open your Chalkology paste packet. Place a small amount of paste in a dish and the dip your squeegee into the paste.
- Spread the paste onto the stencil ensuring all of the silkscreen is covered.
- Scrape off the excess paste and peel the stencil to reveal your work of art!

Store your excess paste to use for another project as you will have more than enough paste and the stencil is reusable. Here are some ideas for storing your excess paste:
- Leave the paste in the packet and store in a ziplock bag.
- Leave the paste in the packet, roll over the open edge of the packet and place tape or a paperclip over the rolled edge to keep it closed.
- Store leftover paste in a contact lens case.
- Store leftover paste in a small paint container.
Put your finished tag on a gift or hang it in your home. It’s a fun little project that lets you give Chalk Couture a try! Then go create more things using the stencil and leftover paste because it’s so much fun!
